    2015年5月8日，国际牙医师中国区（International College of Dentists Section XIII-China, ICD China Section ）2015年学术年会暨院士授予大会在成都新会展中心举行。ICD全球候任主席Dr.Phillip Dowell博士（英国），ICD院士、美国德克萨斯大学RaghunathPuttaiah教授（印度）、中华口腔医学会副会长周诺教授、ICD中国区主席周学东教授、秘书长陈谦明教授、中国区院士等100余人出席了会议。2015年学术年会的主题是口腔医疗中的感染控制，美国德克萨斯大学的RaghunathPuttaiah教授作了题为《Essentials in Dental Infection Control - The Basics for a Practicing Dentist》的主题讲演，对感染控制的最新进展在口腔临床诊疗中的应用做了精彩的介绍并与参会代表进行了热烈的讨论。ICD全球当选主席Dr.Phillip Dowell 博士向来自全国口腔医学领域的42名新当选院士介绍ICD的发展沿革和使命。Dr.Phillip Dowell博士、周诺教授和周学东教授分别代表ICD总部、中华口腔医学会和ICD中国区致辞，并为每位当选的ICD新Fellow颁发证书以及ICD金钥匙和金别针。
